It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Lets start with a wreath. All you will need is an old book with text papers, rather than images. Some card board for the backing and some baubles. You will need your craft supplies like sellotape, stapler, and a hot glue gun. A compass with be useful too.
An old book with 120 pages.
That is a 120 pages, not 120 sides!
Make them into cones.
all 120, secure with the sellotape.
They do start to take over.
Two boxes full! Now on every cone, staple one inch up from the bottom point of the cone.
Glue gun and lots of glue.
On a large piece of card, using a compass, draw an 8 inch circle and a 4 inch circle, as shown
At 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock hot glue gun the cones down. Glue the staple on the 8 inch circle.
Keep filling in the 8 inch circle.

Now hot glue the staple area to the 4 inch circle.

Hot glue gun the bauble into the center,
Fasten a ribbon to the back and hang it up.
Look how different they can be!

Hello!

I have been playing with paper a lot at the moment, and having a great time.
Book folding.
Love these.
And they feel great.
Nice.

These are the left over bits of paper from doing some books at Uni, and I don't like wasting paper so I thought I would make a Tibetan Prayer book out of them.I stained them in tea.
Hand made paper for covers.
Measure and cut out what we need.
Two tones of brown I think.
I am using box card for the main part of the cover. Gluing it all together with double sided tape.

Some stitch detail.

See you soon. xx
