The twelve mini journals of Christmas, come on play!

Happy First of Christmas. Now as you regulars to Jo Bloggs know I tend to do a special at this festive time of year. This year is no exception, but I did want to be kind to myself as I do have a lot of other things to do as well. So instead of a large journal we are going to play with 12 mini journals, well 11 actually the twelfth is quite big. I will be posting these alternate days. So grab you paper stash, scissors glue, bone fold etc and make some books.
One piece of 12 x 12 double sided decorative paper
Fold in half and the fold each half into the middle, therefore it will then be in quarters
Rotate once and fold in half. Now with paper facing you with middle fold vertical, and four panels on each side of that fold.
Sore at 2 inches and 10 inches.
Cut as shown, (2 inch score lines are at the sides)
Add doubled sided tape to either end on the 2 inch strips.
Fold up and stick down.

Place face down.
Add tape to bottom left corner panel
Fold up and stick together
If you wish black edges

Add tape as shown
Stick together
Cut a piece of contrasting card, 4 x 1.5 inches.
Score and fold at half and 1 inch.
Add double sided tape
Attach to spine

Decorate.

Make tags for the pockets from your left over bits of paper..., I know you have some!!!

Decorate the pockets
